On August 29, 2020, our new life began. My husband Gene and I moved into OLOL and were warmly welcomed by all the staff and vibrant community of “masked” fellow seniors. Everyone assured us that when the pandemic was over, there would be many social and religious opportunities. But I can assure you that the last 6 months have been filled with meeting new friends, special meals, events and entertainment, all safely planned. Each day we are thankful we took the steps and moved forward to find our new home. We love it here.
