Springtime Happenings

Spring is the perfect season at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. Not only do the flowers start blooming and the temperatures begin rising, but Spring brings a growing excitement to a project that’s happening right here in our very own backyard: our memory care community expansion!

As of now, construction is 2% completed with our opening set for December 2022. We couldn’t be prouder of our state-of-the-art development, which will feature two distinct homelike neighborhoods for 26 residents. We are excited about opening our home and our hearts to these new family members.

Top 5 Spring Activities

Winter really made an appearance this year with a couple of icy and interesting snowfalls. Let’s say goodbye to the chill…and hello to the sunshine in five fun-filled ways.

Baby, It’s (Not) Cold Outside

Embrace the blissful fresh air by simply taking a walk with a friend or enjoying an outdoor meal. Transport the outside inside by opening your window and listening to the chirping birds. It’s quite invigorating!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

April will be here before you know it, bringing Easter hop-hop-hopping along with it. There’s no better time to decorate your home with festive colors and meaningful decorations. The joy of the holiday should truly be recognized and celebrated.

 5-Star Movies

  • Some of the all-time best movies focus on Spring and Easter. A few star-studded suggestions for your viewing pleasure:
  •  Easter Parade (1948) starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire. There’s dancing, love, and even a proposal at the Easter Day parade!
  • It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown! (1974) features the Peanuts gang getting ready for Easter in their own unique way. A great film for your grandkids…and for all of you who are kids at heart.
  • King of Kings (1961) retells the miraculous life of Jesus Christ. Did you know: Cecil B. DeMille directed the original movie in 1927, and it is currently the eighth highest grossing film of all time.

All in the Family

Family visits brighten any sunny or rainy day. Listen to each other’s stories. Savor a tasty snack together. Share a favorite memory plus make new ones.
