Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is proud to provide services to improve the quality of life for senior adults by promoting and providing social, health, and housing programs and services in St. Louis City and County, as well as in St. Charles, Jefferson, Franklin and Warren Counties

Each year, we serve over 30,000 senior adults in our community.  We welcome you to become part of our mission by supporting our senior adults, especially those who no longer have resources.

There are many ways to support Cardinal Ritter Senior Services:

Individual and/or Corporate Gifts

Personal and corporate involvement can take many forms - cash, stock or in-kind - all of which provide valued benefit to our residents. 

For your convenience, you may make an online donation using our secure server by clicking here.  In addition, Cardinal Ritter Senior Services has prepared a downloadable form that can be sent to the address listed at the bottom of this page with a check or money order.  To print the form, simply click on the link below and a new window will open.  You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view the form.  If you do not have this software, you may get your free copy by clicking the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon.

If you would like to make a monthly, quarterly or annual gift through an electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your checking or savings account, Cardinal Ritter Senior Services has partnered with Our Sunday Visitor (OSV) and Online Giving to help facilitate that process.  Online Giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your checking or savings account into Cardinal Ritter Senior Services' bank account.

Just click on the Online Giving logo above and you will be taken to the website.  The website conains a video that will help you with creating a new login - it will walk you through all of the information and requirements for logins and passwords. Once you complete the online registration form, the contribution amount you specify will be automatically transferred from your account on the date which you specify.  If after signing up you decide you do not wish to continue giving online, you are able to discontinue at any time.  Donation amounts, frequency of giving and account information are easily adjusted and are in complete control of the donor. If you already have an account through your church or other organization, just log in and make your gift to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services.

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Matching gifts from corporations are an excellent way to help Cardinal Ritter Senior Services obtain additional gifts. If you work for a company that has a matching gift program, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your donation to CRSS.

If you are a donor, event participant, volunteer, client, or sponsor who works for any of the following companies, chances are you can increase your donation to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services with a matching gift made by your employer. Employees wishing to secure a matching gift from their company must initiate the process directly with their employer on our behalf (inquire with your human resources, charitable contributions, or payroll department).

Memorials and Honorariums

Honor a loved one or commemorate a special occasion through a gift of any amount to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services.  We'll send a personalized acknowledgement to inform the individual you are honoring.

We also offer the opportunity to buy an engraved Blessing Brick or Bench with the name(s) of your loved ones engraved to be placed in our Blessing Garden, located on our Shrewsbury campus.  If you would like to download a Blessing Brick Request Form, please click here.

Planned Giving

Many planned giving options are available, such as including Cardinal Ritter Senior Services in your will or purchasing an annuity.  Speak to your tax or investment advisor about supporting Cardinal Ritter Senior Services as a part of your estate plan.  Your contribution will allow us to continue serving senior adults for years to come.

NAP Tax Credits

NAP tax credits work as an incentive to encourage businesses and individuals with business income, including property rental income, to contribute to neighborhood charities and projects. Under the Missouri NAP program, any corporation or individual with business or royalty income in the state of Missouri is eligible to receive a tax credit valued at 50% of their contribution. The NAP tax credits are used as cash when paying Missouri taxes and are in addition to any federal charitable deduction. Cardinal Ritter Senior Services was awarded more than $200,000 in state tax credits in July of 2008.

With NAP credits, your donation costs you pennies on the dollar!
